Proposal review 

Your proposal will go under review with the Network Manager. 

Proposal outcome 

You will receive an outcome within a week of meeting.

Eligibility Criteria

To prevent the issue of double funding, the Irish Government provides financial support exclusively to specific categories of organizations through Aviation Skillnet. We kindly request that you specify the type of funding you currently receive when you reach  the training needs analysis form below. 

Irish Private Sector Companies

(i.e. not government funded). This covers all sizes of companies, including sole traders, consultants. 

Non-Commercial public sector organisation’s (i.e. government funded)


Commercial public sector organisation’s


You must provide your Companies Registration Office (CRO) number and written confirmation that the training is not being paid for from any public funds. This information must be sent by e-mail to Kumar@ICBE.ie either before or immediately after you have completed your booking.

Non-Commercial not-for-profit organisation’s

Irish Commercial not-for-profit organisation’s

Aviation Employees 

We support Employees of Irish Based Aviation Organisations on  inhouse and external programs 

Private individuals

 We do not support private individuals unless they are associated with an Irish Based Aviation Organisation. 

To avoid double funding, If you have organised funding for your course through SOLAS or another government agency, please let us know. 


Charities 


Important Criteria 


We provide support solely to Irish Based Organisations 

Our Skillnet Funding model primarily focuses on supporting larger organisational initiatives with substantial group sizes; however, we are also open to providing individual support.

We provide funding for in house and external qualifications and programs 

We solely provide funding to Aviation related organisations and financial support can range from 20 to 30%.
